7 Days Uganda primates safari explores the best Ugandan national parks including Kibale for chimpanzee tracking, Queen Elizabeth national park for game drive and launch cruise and gorilla watching in Bwindi national park.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National park
With early breakfast at your hotel and be ready for pick up by our company tour guide to transfer to Kibale national park national park reaching in the time for lunch. In the afternoon head out for a community walk to visit the crater lakes region where you will have spectacular views of the Lakes. Dinner and overnight stay at chimpanzee guest house (budget)/crater safari lodge (mid range)/Kyaninga lodge (luxury)
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking –Bigodi swamp tour
Set off early morning after a quick cup of coffee and set off to assemble at the Kibale park head quarters by 7:00 am for briefing on chimps tracking. Enter the forest in search for chimps. The search can go upto 4 hours . Return to your hotel for lunch and after which headout for a community visit to the Bigodi swamp for bird watching and later return to your lodge

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park – Afternoon Boat Cruise
Set off early after your breakfast at your hotel for Queen Elizabeth national park on a 4 – 5 hours’ drive. Enroute you will have a game drive through the Ishasha sector of the park where you will have a unique opportunity to view tree climbing lions. Head to your hotel for lunch and in the afternoon go out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. Return to your hotel for Dinner and overnight at; Enganzi Lodge (budget), Marafiki safari lodge (midrange) and Mweya safari lodge (luxury)
Day 4: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Kalinzu Game Reserve for Chimps Tracking
Today you will set off quite early with packed breakfast and head out for your early morning game drive to catch sight of the early risers. This is the best time to see wildlife along the Kasenyi trail. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and quite a number of others. Return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon head to Kalinzu forest reserve for chimpanzee tracking. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge (budget), Marafiki safari lodge (midrange) and Mweya safari lodge (luxury)
Day 5: Drive to Bwindi through Ishasha Sector
Have breakfast to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park, a home to 360 mountain gorillas. The journey goes through the Ishasha sector famous for Tree-Climbing lions. Take a community walk where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dances of the Batwa Pygmies. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/ Silverback Lodge (Midrange)/Buhoma Community Bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (Budget)
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking – Batwa Community
Your day begins with an early cup of coffee and your guide will drive you to the Bwindi park head quarters where all visitors going for gorilla trekking gather for briefing about conduct / behavior when you meet your gorilla family. Trekking for gorilla in Uganda usually last 2 – 7 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
A head guide will escort you into the forest plus an armed guard in search for your gorilla group. Once you meet the gorillas, you are allowed 1 hour with the gentle giants. After trekking descend back to the park head offices where you will meet you guide to drive you to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, have a Batwa pygmies cultural experience. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala with en route stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch.
